A united Body of Messiah, Jew and Gentle one in Messiah, trusting for the fulfilment of the Word of Elohim, as Jew and gentile unite as one new man in Yeshua the Messiah.
Consider this : Ephesians 2:11-22
Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth- called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised- at that time had no Messiah. You were estranged from the national life of Isra’el. You were foreigners to the covenants embodying God’s promise. You were in this world without hope and without God.
But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood. For he himself is our shalom- he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, and in order to reconcile to God both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity.
Also, when he came, he announced as Good News shalom to you far off and shalom to those nearby, news that through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
So then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers. On the contrary, you are fellow- citizens with God’s people and members of God’s family. You have been built on the foundation of the emissaries and the prophets, with the cornerstone being Yeshua, the Messiah himself. In union with him the whole building is held together, and it is growing into a holy temple in union with the Lord. Yes, in union with him, you yourselves are being built together into a spiritual dwelling- place for God
as written in
In the acharit- hayamim (last days)
the mountain of ADONAI ‘s house
will be established as the most important mountain.
It will be regarded more highly than the other hills,
and all the Goyim will stream there.
Many peoples will go and say,
“Come, let’s go up to the mountain of ADONAI,
to the house of the God of Ya’akov!
He will teach us about his ways,
and we will walk in his paths.”
For out of Tziyon will go forth Torah,
the word of ADONAI from Yerushalayim
As Yeshua said to the woman at the well
John 4:21-24 Yeshua said, “Lady, believe me, the time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Yerushalayim. You people don’t know what you are worshipping; we worship what we do know, because salvation comes from the Jews. But the time is coming- indeed, it’s here now- when the true worshippers will worship the Father spiritually and truly, for these are the kind of people the Father wants worshipping him. God is spirit; and worshippers must worship him spiritually and truly.
Yeshua created in Himself one new man. In Him there is now no longer Jew or gentile, only one in Messiah, for it is through the Blood of Messiah, that we as gentiles have been brought near and made partakers of Israel and the covenant relationship. A covenant esthablished and validated by the blood of Yeshua between all who have been recreated in Yeshua and our Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. We therefore share in the promises of Israel through the covenant that the God of Israel established in love by His only begotten Son.
So how can we say we love the God of Israel but reject Israel, for when Yeshua was asked concerning the most important law in Mark 12:29 Yeshua answered, “The most important is,
‘Sh’ma Yisra’el, ADONAI Eloheinu, ADONAI echad [Hear, O Isra’el, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Yeshua’s answer is the primary reason that we must love Israel, for based on the answer that Yeshua gave, it is clear that the God of Israel is the God of all who believe in Yeshua as the Son of the Living God. As said how can we believe in and love the God of Israel but reject Israel, for it continues to say that you must love your neighbor as yourself.
The second most important reason to love Israel is based upon the fact that the Bible is mostly about Israel and introduced us to the God of Israel who loved us so much that He send His own Son to save the world, through a covenant validated by the blood of His Son, Yeshua the Messiah.
The third reason to consider is that both Israel and the body of Messiah have access to the Father as stated in Ephesians 2:19 So then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers. On the contrary, you are fellow- citizens with God’s people and members of God’s family. We are therefore brothers as we have one Father and belong to the same household, the household of Elohim. Even if Israel do not yet believe in Yeshua as the Messiah, it makes them no less our brother, and we must show them the same mercy as we received, as written in Romans 11:28-32 With respect to the Good News they are hated for your sake. But with respect to being chosen they are loved for the Patriarchs ‘sake, for God’s free gifts and his calling are irrevocable. Just as you yourselves were disobedient to God before but have received mercy now because of Isra’el’s disobedience; so also Isra’el has been disobedient now, so that by your showing them the same mercy that God has shown you, they too may now receive God’s mercy. For God has shut up all mankind together in disobedience, in order that he might show mercy to all.
Even though Israel is called a special nation to God, as written Exodus 19:5-6 Now if you will pay careful attention to what I say and keep my covenant, then you will be my own treasure from among all the peoples, for all the earth is mine; and you will be a kingdom of cohanim for me, a nation set apart. ‘These are the words you are to speak to the people of Isra’el and Deuteronomy 14:2 because you are a people set apart as holy for ADONAI your God. ADONAI your God has chosen you to be his own unique treasure out of all the peoples on the face of the earth. and again in Psalm 135:4 For Yah chose Ya’akov for himself, Isra’el as his own unique treasure. We need not to be jelouse of Israel, on the contrary we can love them as our brothers for it is also written in the New Testament in Titus 2:14 He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good.
and in 1 Pet 2:9 But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
The fourth reason to consider is that Elohim said by His own Word that we the nations will assist the Jewish people as they re-enter the land of Israel, it is written in Isaiah 49:21-22 Then you will ask yourself, “Who fathered these for me? I’ve been mourning my children, alone, as an exile, wandering to and fro; so who has raised these? I was left alone, so where have these come from?” Adonai ELOHIM answers: “I am beckoning to the nations, raising my banner for the peoples. They will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their. For Elohim promised to return His people to the land He gave them as written in Amos 9:14-15 ”I will restore the fortunes of my people Isra’el; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities; they will plant vineyards and drink their wine, cultivate gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their own soil, no more to be uprooted from their land, which I gave them, “ says ADONAI your God. It is also written and promised in Ezekiel 37:21-22 “I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all sides and bring them to their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all.” The mentioned re-gathering of Israel is prophesied in Ezekiel, Isaiah, Deuteronomy, Amos, Hosea, Jeremiah. Yeshua spoke about the time of the goyim to be fulfilled in Luke 21:24, and by Paul in Romans 11 “I am establishing my covenant between me and you, along with your descendants after you, generation after generation, as an everlasting covenant, to be God for you and for your descendants after you. I will give you and your descendants after you the land in which you are now foreigners, all the land of Kena’an, as a permanent possession; and I will be their God. He confirmed that promise with Isaac as recorded in Genesis 26:3-4 Stay in this land, and I will be with you and bless you, because I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants. I will fulfill the oath which I swore to Avraham your father- I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky, I will give all these lands to your descendants, and by your descendants all the nations of the earth will bless themselves and again with Jacob in Genesis 35:12 Moreover, the land which I gave to Avraham and Yitz’chak I will give to you, and I will give the land to your descendants after you.” If we do not acknowledge Israel we do not acknowledge the promise of Elohim, as an everlasting covenant.
The fifth reason to consider, God says He will bless those who bless Israel, as written in Genesis 12:3: I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed and warn against those who will not serve Israel in Isaiah 60:12: For the nation or kingdom that won’t serve you will perish; yes, those nations will be utterly destroyed. The mentioned is confirmed by history alone, many mighty world kingdoms have fallen and disintegrated who did not serve Israel. e.g Persia, Rome and Greece.
The six reason to consider is this, throughout the history of the Church, since the second century, “the Church” have been guilty of vicious anti-Semitic remarks. These remarks have provided the basis to ridicule, discriminate, and even to kill the Jewish people. Often those who claimed to be followers of the Messiah have perpetrated these actions. Can we blame the Jews for so often resisting a Messiah whose followers were anti-Semitic? In justice as well as in charity we need to make amend for the tragic record of “the Church in its dealings with the Jewish people. We who should have been their nurturers; have so often been their enemies and tormentors. The heretical teaching that “the Church” has replaced Israel has been taught since the second century. This teaching is faithful neither to the Old Testament nor New Testament Scriptures. It is the new anti-Semitism, opposing Israel’s right to fulfill their God given destiny in the land of promise, it is the most dangerous form of anti-Semitism today.
The seventh reason is to be working with God, as God is working with Israel. The Messiah is coming back to Israel to be reconciled with His own people. He will reign from Jerusalem with His overcoming over all the nations. as it is written in Isaiah 2:3-4 Many peoples will go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of ADONAI, to the house of the God of Ya’akov! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Tziyon will go forth Torah, the word of ADONAI from Yerushalayim. He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. Then they will hammer their swords into plow- blades and their spears into pruning- knives; nations will not raise swords at each other, and they will no longer learn war ‘For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide for many peoples: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.’
If you want world peace, pray and help the Jewish people.
If you want to see the Church restored, pray for and help the Jewish people:
If you want to see the Messiah return, pray for the restoration of Israel.
If you want to see your nation and all the nations blessed, pray and work for them to stand with Israel and the Jewish people, and resist anti-Semitism.
If you want your own life to be blessed, help and bless the Jewish people
If you want your life to prosper, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
God called on us to comfort His people in Isaiah 40:1-2 “Comfort and keep comforting my people,” says your God. “Tell Yerushalayim to take heart; proclaim to her that she has completed her time of service, that her guilt has been paid off, that she has received at the hand of ADONAI double for all her sins.
