Prayer Based Discipleship
Discipleship signify a journey in faith, trusting in Jesus as we follow Him. As Jesus said to Phillip in John 1:43 “On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee, and he found Philip. Yeshua said to him, “Follow me.”.
Why call it prayer based discipleship?.
The disciples of Jesus was in relationship with Him, Prayer based discipleship is therefore based on the Hebrew perspective of prayer, where the focus is on knowing God (a relationship).
Discipleship is based on the knowledge of who God is, and then based on that knowledge to place your trust in Him through His Son Jesus Christ, considering not in your own inability but looking upon Jesus and His ability to do what He promised to do.
What objective of the prayer based discipleship is?
According to Apostle John, he said that the objective is fellowship with the Lord 1 John 1:1-3 That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us); that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Yeshua the Messiah.
How will the prayer based discipleship be conducted?
On request or as the Lord guides, we will conduct workshops based on the prayer based discipleship initiatives.
Depending on the workshop it will be presented in 1-3 sessions, in which time our main focus will be to teach concerning the pattern of the tabernacle as God’s design for fellowship with us.
There after, a set of 48 workshops, 12 at a time will be distributed to assist those who want to know more concerning the relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ, and the fellowship God intended from the beginning.
