Sharing His Love in Faith
To share His Love as we walk by faith (Christ mission of evangelism)
We are called to Share His Love as we walk in faith, a love that have been demonstrated unto us through Jesus Christ the Son of the living God who laid down His life so that we can receive this new life as we are recreated in Christ Jesus.
Being privileged to receive the gift of salvation through the love of God as demonstrated through his own Son in John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ( unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life, now we have been privileged to share the same love that we received. We received it as a gift, freely, so we also should give it freely.
In this regard the Lord showed us to share His love in an understandable and tangible way, by giving a blanket as a gift. The blanket is freely given just as God gave us in His love His only Son to be crucified so that through Him we could enter into this new covenant relationship. As when the person receives the blanket and clothe himself within it, we received the gift of Christ in us from God in faith, acknowledging that we no longer live but that Christ lives within us.Thus you look at the person and see the blanket not the person , so if we are transformed into a new creation, Christ living in us, people should see Christ and not us . This explains that the Spirit of love of God we received has the inherit power to transform us, so now through this inherit power we can share the love of Jesus Christ, becoming a witness unto Him, for His and the Father’s name sake.
We have been saved so that we can share, as we received the power from above as Jesus said in Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
Sharing His love, is an act of faith, not of what we are able, but rather based on the ability of Jesus working through us as it is written in Luke 5:4-6 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon (Peter), Put out into the deep [water], and lower your nets for a haul. And Simon (Peter) answered, Master, we toiled all night [exhaustingly] and caught nothing [in our nets]. But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets [again]. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [ at the point of] breaking,
There is a call, calling each one of us to do the impossible – to trust in God as we come into partnership with Him. Trusting not on the basis of what we see, or what we can do but on the support of His everlasting Word.
When the disciples asked Jesus what is the work they should do in order to please God, Jesus said as written in John 6:29 Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger].
If we can trust that the Word of God became flesh in His Son Jesus Christ, and that we no longer live but Christ lives within us. Then we must also trust that after receiving His Spirit, it is He that empowers us, as promised in order that we can be faithful witnesses unto Jesus. Not only in words but also in action. As the Word said in Hebrew 11:6 And without trusting, it is impossible to be well pleasing to God, because whoever approaches him must trust that he does exist and that he becomes a Rewarder to those who seek him out.
